Changing The Coax Connector on MFJ-4601, Window ANT Feedthru

Dennis Fernandez N4KPI All Messages By This Member #45 I changed some. No problem loosen the nut and out it comes you don't need to mess with the panel. The problem is that a standard N barrel isn't long enough to seat a male on both sides you need a longer barrel. I used a "MPD Digital 3-Inch Extra Long N Type Female Threaded Bulkhead Barrel Adapter" from Amazon?? ? ??

Hopefully it will warmup a little in the next week or so, It shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to replace. Then I can replace the insulation in between the windows. ? ? David Frechette All Messages By This Member #48 I ordered the 4602 entry panel from them, but I ordered it with N connectors instead of PL style, and there was no extra charge. PL-259 fittings are junk in my opinion, and are best used for audio applications, cause that's about the limit of their frequency response!
