An addendum to the Friday Five. This date in my personal history has been one I would rather not relive. 8 years ago I was hospitalized with a leg cramp in my left thigh so severe the ER had to give me a shot of fentanyl to get it to release.? I was traveling and had spent way too much time behind the wheel of the car. 7 years ago I was at a Mensa RG in Portlland OR when I fell down in an ADA (accssible) bathroom and destroyed my left leg.? By the time I was done I was in the hospital for seventeen days. and finally two years ago today one of the cats that lived with me got run over out in the street. Truly a day that will personally live in infamy. - -- 1.? :Do you know who Alyssa Vogel is? The IDF is doing what Israel's government tells them to do, and the Gaza's government is Hamas, so the two aren't quite comparable, but both are controlled by unpopular leaders struggling to stay in power.? The Biden administration is losing support on the left wing for siding with Israel, by the way. 3.? Do you feel like you are or will be able to live a comfortable retirement? I am so far, but fear that Biden's policies will cause rampant inflation and leave us all poor. 4.? Do you look forward to retirement - or do you dread the idea of having nothing to do? I have no problem having little to do. 5.? ?What do you think was the worst year for humanity in the last two thousand = and why? I am just fine, thank you. Work a couple days, workout, TV, reading, games and now the weather is breaking and the pool opening.
No idea but we are in a tight fix now, I think.? The pandemic, the related health issue that are still popping up, the surges in violence in areas once immune, the growing environmental tension. We may claim the honor this year.
