Should the US get involved - if so how? As we are: fight with our allies. This is beyond pretense and proxy now and not choosing a side is not an option. I would make a?horrible Islamic fundamentalist extremist. 3.? Should the lWA be forced to go back to work under the Taft Hartley Act? Moot point, but certainly not after one day? 4.? Is Putin serious about using nuclear weapons? I doubt he will choose to accept defeat. It would mean his life to lose this, so what does he have to lose? After all, a tactical nuke is no more horrifying than a land war with?untold casualties. I think the fleet in that area should be wary as what better way to prove he is willing without unacceptable civilian?casualties than an airburst over a bit of ocean? I think at this point it is all about how he is going to frame it to make his survival after the fact palatable. 5.? If nuclear weapons are used by Russia - what should be our response? Russia will need to be defeated. A combined attack by all of NATO to depose Putin while blocking any nuclear strikes would be the least possible answer. Either Russia wins what started as a war of conquest, thus preparing the way for a similar future step, or the gambit fails decisively. I doubt I would make a better communist than I would an extremist.
