Vibrations

Scott, I hope that you are reading this.

Have an early Celestron G11, circa 1992, Its been to your shop once
to receive larger CG14 bearings.
This mount, from day one, has suffered from image vibrations, I have
done everything that has been suggested, no improvement at all. You
can see the "heartbeat" of this mount in the image at above 200x or
thereabouts.

Give me an honest opinion, is there a fix for this problem, or I
should sell it and get a newer one?

Thanks,
Vahe

Hi Vahe
It's not the mount, it's the stepper. The GoTo servo motors will fix
that. I do have a different stepper you can try, and let me know how
it
works. E-mail me your address.
