The First Mars Helicopter Will Fly with Maxon Motors

Heres a link to this and a link to the overall Mars trip!
The maxon motors on my g11 were the eliminators of all the motor error messages I used to get from the earliest motors used. They are still working for reliably for me after many years.?

Wow......to be expected though. ?NASA would only use parts that have a rigidly recorded logistics chain.

I¡¯ve repaired 2 Gemini¡¯s with maxon motors. ?I was drooling at them. ?The smoothness and torque ....wow just wow.?

Pity they are so expensive.....I¡¯d love them....sadly even the shipping to down under is a stretch! ?

Huh, I live in Switzerland, I might be able to help with lowering shipping cost...

Thanks Carl but maxon motors are around $300 AUD alone...!?? I would also need a machined housing.? Spent the last 2 weeks going over motor specs from many mfgrs...it's a minefield!
