Meridian flip problem i

I have a 23 year old G-11 with Gemini 2. Software is last version 5 release.
using Gemini.net driver, the mount will not do a meridian flip. It hits the east limit, turns off tracking, and stops. Using the function menu on the driver panel did nothing. Triggering a meridian flip from Nina did nothing either.
Any suggestions??
thanks

Is this a new issue? Was it working previously and then stopped working? or are you trying to get it to work for the first time?
How do you have the Meridian Flip settings configured in Settings > Imaging (upper right of screen)?
?
Have you used Edward Plumer's calculator located in the Files section of this group?
If not, look at these slides here which explain how to use the calculator.
?
I had an issue with meridian flips this week, using the advanced sequencer, but I had dragged the Meridian Flip trigger from a local trigger to a global trigger instead of deleting the local trigger and dragging in a new Meridian Flip trigger to the global trigger section. Once I did that, it worked fine.

I figured this out. I can’t believe reach zenith on the motor side. The dovetail would hit. I’m going to get an RA extension.
But I ran into another problem which I’ll post in another thread.

Have you tried what the person at the end of the thread did? It worked for me on my GM811G. https://bbs.zwoastro.com/d/12624-fails-to-meridian-flip-losmandy-g11/23
