Gemini-1 Alignment Displays Polar Axis Offset (Altitude and Azimuth) in what Units?

While doing the cold start alignment of 3-4 stars the display shows the offset of the polar axis from the NCP in altitude and azimuth. The manual says these are in units of arc-seconds. Is that really correct? Or is it giving the offset in arc-minutes?

Hi Russ,

Looks like you didn't get an answer yet. Gemini-1 displays alignment error in arcminutes. If you use a PC with a Gemini.NET ASCOM driver, you can see the arcsecond display in the driver model dialog.

Here's a description of what the errors mean in terms of polar misalignment:

Thanks for the reply, Paul. My intuition said that it was in arc-minutes. But the manual says it is in arc-seconds. But I can see from the link you gave that the manual is wrong. Michael has my Gemini-1 module soon to be repaired. So I'll be back in business before long. I've really come to rely on that G11-1 for most all of my telescopes.?

All the Best,
Russ
