An Introduction
By way of introducing myself to forum members, here is a bit of my history. Born in 1946 makes me 74 years "young". But my health is better than many much younger ones. Still there has been some decline in capabilities, both mental and physical. Having been into amateur astronomy since the age of 16, I'm finding that the "affliction", though incurable, is still quite enjoyable. |
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHello Russ,?
Welcome to the Group, you have a interesting life in the Astro Hobby. Grinding and polishing a mirror blank is something I have wanted to try my hand at that.
HAPPY SKIES TO YOU AND KEEP LOOKING UP? Deric

Hi Russ,
And Welcome to a true Losmandy group. I think I saw you on Cloudy terms of service forum. But this is the real deal! Sounds like you've got a lifetime of fun and looking up to share. I'm only entering my 6th year of being serious about this. I like taking pictures of Nebula. I blame The Great Orion Nebula for hooking me into this madness. Most of my friends were doing planetary, or star clusters. But me? I wanted to go Deep Space. I'm hoping to go after the Pink Pillow/Magic Carpet Nebula very soon. () I always like a challenge. And boy howdy! Does this sport offer it! -- SonnyE (I suggest viewed in full screen) |
