Hi everyone

?

Just a quick FYI ¨C Gemini Telescope.net driver version 1.0.75 has been tested and appears to work successfully with the latest ASCOM platform update, which (of this post) is version 6.5

?

?

?

If you have a reason to upgrade to that, you should be okay.

?

If you do not have a specific reason to move to that platform version, you may want to wait a bit for this relatively new release to be shaken out. I have heard of other drivers (cameras, etc.) having issues, so upgrading may cause problems in other areas.

?

Also just FYI as of Gemini Telescope.net version 1.0.74 the Gemini ASCOM driver also supports ALPACA if you happen to be using that J

?

As always the latest version of the Gemini ASCOM driver is available via the Telescope driver section of the ASCOM site

Thanks

Thanks for the heads up, Brian. I appreciate it!
I used to always sit back a little from the cutting edge. Using the more stable software versions.
But occasionally riding the Beta's, and getting bloodied by the problems as the software matured.

Presently, if I have things working well, I try to avoid grabbing onto the latest versions to avoid the frustrations debugging can bring.
Lord knows Microsoft is bad enough to tolerate with their half-baked updates with 47 revisions hitting one after the other to fix the batter on their faces.

I'll follow Martha's advice, "If it works, don't fix it."
Thanks for the heads up.
