Resurrecting GM8

I¡¯m resurrecting my old ¡®90s vintage GM8, which I¡¯d Upgraded with Gemini v1. First problem I¡¯ve run I to, the three screws to attach the mount to the pier have disappeared. Anyone happen to know the specs?

Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill

If you're talking about the mount to the MA adapter on the tripod, those are 3/8" 16

Bill...the large bolts that hold down the AZ are 3/8-16, stainless steel. Same with the elevation axis hold down bolts. So? I'd suggest that a few of those 3/6-16 of the right length might work for you.??

Your local big box hardware store like Home Depot might carry a few different stainless steel bolts to try.

Best of luck,
Michael

Surprised they are still that price. I know aluminum is not 76 cents a pound anymore. The 1.5" aluminum round stock must run about $10. But I wouldn't bother to make my own at that price and I'm cheap.
