Re: Recent G11 Reviews Needed Please
I don¡¯t know of another major telescope manufacturer that you would be able to call and talk to the owner. He also has his hands in the assembly process. If you buy a Losmandy mount Scott Losmandy

Re: Recent G11 Reviews Needed Please
Thanks for the link. The reviewer pretty much has Losmandy's number, top level craftsmanship with a very good modern control system that works well with modern imaging hardware and software

Re: How much counterweight are you using with your 130mm refractor?
20.. 11.. and 7# Losmandy weights.. Yes, the 20 and the 11 will work, but higher up / closer to the scope is "better".. Derek _____ Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2024 5:30 AM To:

Chip. Did you ever experience cone error and, if yes, did you adjust the polemaster to align with your scope to make it colinear? Chuck On Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 01:16:43 PM PDT, Chip

Re: How much counterweight are you using with your 130mm refractor?
Last time I put a C11 with a 3" DT bar on a scale it was over 30. IIRC 32+. Surprisingly, the G9.25 weighed almost 28.

Re: Question on Drift
Sounds like some backlash, Kenn. The lag is probably until the worm rotation takes up the slack. How much wiggle do you have at the end of the counterweight bar? It should not be more than 3-4 mm at

Re: Question on Drift
With a WO FLT`132 FL 925 F7 and the ASI 2600 using APT in full screen mode it will take about 5-8 seconds to stop movement. It does not matter where the star is located in the sky. After the alignment

Not silly at all, letting $4000 worth of computers become vulnerable is what is silly. All my other drivers and software work just fine with it on.

Re: Recent G11 Reviews Needed Please
That was a pretty silly thing to do on a dedicated imaging computer. Core isolation is irrelevant in this and almost every personal application, it's not like you are a bank or the US government

I had to return my Pole Master because the only way I could get it to work on my 2 Eagle 5 Pros was to disable the Core Security, that was something I did not want to do. There was no workaround

Re: Recent G11 Reviews Needed Please
Not true. Do what I do, put the PoleMaster camera on a dovetail saddle clamp and clamp it on the telescope dovetail and then use the PoleMaster or other app to do your PA. I helped prototype this
