Re: Polemaster on Losmandy's
Hi Matt,
Have you been using the Android PoleMaster app? Does it work? I have not found anybody who has it working on a smartphone yet but if it works I'd use it for sure as I often just want to PA

Hi Donnie,

I certainly am. And you are comparing Apples (G11G), to Lemons (EQ6-R

Re: simple servo motor control
My biggest problem with the Nema motors was finding the flexible couples small enough in diameter to fit. Most are 19/20mm and? and the GM8 needs 14mm. Apparently, I must have found some from Ali

Re: Gemini-1 Alignment Displays Polar Axis Offset (Altitude and Azimuth) in what Units?
Thanks for the reply, Paul. My intuition said that it was in arc-minutes. But the manual says it is in arc-seconds. But I can see from the link you gave that the manual is wrong. Michael has my

Re: Wireless Remote control of the Gemini 2
I can vouch for this approach. It is also a lower power solution for when you are mobile. It will be a learning curve to switch to this though.

Re: Polemaster on Losmandy's
Hey Donnie, the Gemini 2 is much easier to use than the Celestron or
iOptron controllers. I am very familiar with both of those controllers.
There is good instruction online for using the hand

Re: Polemaster on Losmandy's
I use the PoleMaster on mine. I have a G11 and a GM8 (both with Gemini 2). It takes just a couple of minutes to dial in a pretty accurate alignment.
What I *really* like about these Losmandy mounts

Re: Polemaster on Losmandy's
I have a pole master and really like it. It¡¯s super fast and no bending over to use unlike a polar scope.
if you calibrate it and reuse that settings it¡¯s even faster.
the software is alright.

Re: Disassembling and cleaning a G11
Hi Christophe,
How old is your G11? Most G11s, even really old ones, are mostly the same mechanical design, with mostly compatible, interchangeable parts. So, even an old tutorial should help you

Re: Gemini-1 Alignment Displays Polar Axis Offset (Altitude and Azimuth) in what Units?
Hi Russ,
Looks like you didn't get an answer yet. Gemini-1 displays alignment error in arcminutes. If you use a PC with a Gemini.NET ASCOM driver, you can see the arcsecond display in the driver

Re: Polemaster on Losmandy's
Donnie,
I have a Polemaster on my G11G. The PC software is very intuitive, and it
really dials you in to a good PA. As for adding it, you can buy an adapter
for various Losmandys. However, ADM has a
