Re: Communications error
Hi Arun I'm not sure what is the "gemini server"? There's really no good way to diagnose this without seeing that conditions underwhich this happened, the specific error message text, and looking at

Re: My G11/Gemini Lives!
Hi Terry, Going that route of replacing the EPROM, here are some notes and advise: You will not need to pull out the battery, just leave it in place. That will hold the SRAM data of location Latitude

Re: Summer Triangle
I hung out and then the sky cleared, although still very humid. After a simple two-star align, I sent my scope to M57 and there it was. I've been looking at that little ring for the last 56 years. In

That's just bad luck... because I usually find the full-moon is the only time it's clear. My working hypothesis is that the full-moon burns off the clouds. ;-) Clear Skies, Tim

Re: My GM811G DEC Has Developed a Wiggle...
Hmm, to me the screw tends to unscrew with time. So a nuts on the outer side wouldn't help IMO. A 3D printed part on the inner side might prevent the OPWB from moving thus loosing the spring loaded
Re: My G11/Gemini Lives!
Chip, I agree on not cleaning. In my experience, I have come to a rule of thumb: If it works don't touch it. Hardware wise I know for a fact that if you have badly corroded lanes on a PCB you might

Jamie - I just looked.? A locking nut will not fit.? Its too close to the other screw.

I just saw this post with the locktite idea and thought, what a great idea. I thought about it some more and then I thought of a simple solution that would make adjusting easier. I took a look at the
