Re: Losmandy G11G and Gemini2 with SGP
So I just recently got this working with SGP and while not entirely sure how, I will tell you what I know. My issue was due to SGP and the way the limits were set up in the ASCOM / Gemini 2.

Re: Losmandy G11G and Gemini2 with SGP
There is definitely a lot of weirdness that happens in there. I wish i could offer more precise feedback, but it may be in the category of "if it doesn't work after doing X, then don't do X" kind of

Re: Losmandy G11G and Gemini2 with SGP
Hi Fritz instead of pasting the log, can you please attach both the SGP and the ascom log, and if you can roughly indicate at what time these events occurred that would be great. I will forewarn you

Hello, just recieved a gm811g, Gemini 2 was working well, but I think I screwed up the screen calibration. When I power up, the screen goes directly to polar align assist, I tap Back, nothing

Re: Losmandy G11G and Gemini2 with SGP
I should also add that after unparking the telescope the ¡°time to pier flip¡± in SGP switched to NA. Before it was accurate. If I was to do a cold start on the mount and not make a model on the HC

Re: Guiding - Even Derek can Do It
That's great Derek! You're on your way to more and more amazing Astronomy now. It's all baby steps. When I was at your point, I found a spot where I could keep my mount set up. That way it stayed

Re: G-11/Gemini2 Hand Controller Acting Weird
Thanks. That makes sense. It's always weird when things all work fine for a while and then suddenly, they don't. But I suppose anything electrical is subject to spurious glitches from time-to-time.

Re: G-11/Gemini2 Hand Controller Acting Weird
Take a look at your model parameters with the hand controller and look for large numbers.. And / or if you just want it fixed, put it back in the park position, cycle the power and do a cold boot..
