You do have the RAEXT - The RA Extension - right?? It allows the mount to be separated in two, as well as giving clearance to rotate much more and not hit the motors.. Derek _____ Sent:

Hi Deric, Mostly because it is dead stable and very well dampened. If you haven't had the pleasure of using a Berlebach Planet it has much better damping traits than any of the metal tube tripods
