Hi all, thank you for the great responses, there is a lot to learn with Astro gear and I have a long way to go, I don't intend to use push to so dont think I need the shaft encoders, if I'm honest I didn't realise the motors had encoders, I assumed they were an upgrade but googling last night realised that the goto system needs them to work.
