Hi there,

I recently inherited a G11 that I believe was modified. I am curious if anyone here knows a way to power on a Los Mandy mount without the Gemini main control unit but still use the Motor Cables? I have located the hand control. I have gone through all of the equipment I now have and cannot find that main control unit anywhere but I know this mount was regularly used until I had inherited it. Any help here would be amazing, thank you!

I have a few spare Gemini-1 units all ready for you, with a handset. The
trpe if Gemini depends also on the Loamandy motors you have...they made
early motors with rectangular jacks and later motors with round 6 pin "DIN"
jacks. Contact me for a price and you can try one out. They are fully
bulletproofed (by me).

You may also have ("Hurst brand") stepper motors on your G11...it was made
with the "492 stepper" controller and also with Gemini "goto" controllers
with a different type of motor ("servo motor"). I'll need to see a photo of
your motors and their connectors to tell you want you really need.

If you eventually find your own Gemini hiding somewhere I'll take my unit
back if you want.

I also have a nice AC to DC power supply with ammeter to show motor
current. It also boosts the motor torque about 50%.
