Looks like the BP-550 will be available soon!
And they listened to my request to add USB-C for charging, although you'll need a powerful adapter with PD 2.0/3.0 and BC 1.2.
Anyway, I will continue to use my external LiFePO4, which serves me well.

I own the BP-500 and love it a lot. ?Glad it still supports solar panel charging and operation without a separate solar charge controller.allowing up to 50V input voltage. ?Now they need to appear in the wild for those who missed out on getting the BP-500. ?From their website:

The BP-550 Battery Pack is designed to power TX-500 series transceivers using replaceable Li-Ion 18650 batteries.

It supports charging via the USB Type-C port and can be powered from various DC sources with a voltage range of 13 to 50 V (such as consumer electronics power supplies, vehicle on-board networks, solar panels, etc.). The device features an LED indicator to show the remaining battery charge and the ability to display additional information on the transceiver screen.

The battery pack's body is made of impact-resistant plastic, and its power connectors, buttons, and LEDs are equipped with rubber seals to protect against splashes and dust. Folding legs provide a comfortable tilt and prevent accidental activation during transport. An aluminum heat sink ensures optimal temperature conditions for the transceiver with the battery pack installed.
