David Holmgren K9AT "Ruffers" All Messages By This Member #3955 Hi everyone, Here's some pictures that I took with my solar panel connected directly to the BP-500 without a charge controller. ?This is so cool!!! ?Notice the charge voltage at 29v. ?Connecting a solar panel directly to a radio with this much voltage would smoke the radio. ?Thanks LAB599 for building in a solar charge controller!!!!!
