Same issue here. HRD version 6.7.0.391. Tried several Kenwood models but no connection (cannot read frequency). I know the CAT cable supplied with the TX-500 is good because I just updated the firmware to the latest. Someone said they use the TS2000 but that does not work when I tried. The TX-500 manual says to choose "Kenwood" but some logging and rig control programs have drop down menus to select a specific model. Has anyone gotten this to work and if so, what settings did you use?
