Waste collection continues to be delayed in several areas of the Township despite Priority Waste working through the weekend in an attempt to catch up on service.
Waterford deserves better and the Township is doing what we can within our power to continue to work on your behalf to bring this to a resolution.
In the meantime, this morning's update Monday, July 22nd:
Four larger areas of the Township seem to have been missed for collection. If you live in these areas, we are aware of these missed stops and have asked Priority to make your area a Priority for collection ASAP.
Those areas are --
Huron Gardens subdivision near Elizabeth Lake Rd. & Telegraph off Elizabeth Lake Rd., Huron, and Voorheis.
Clintonville Rd. area - all side streets directly off Clintonville and those that branch off as well.
The neighborhoods off Crescent Lake Rd. including Fiddle, Irwindale, Cristy, and Goldner.
The neighborhoods around Silver Lake Rd. including Oxley, Parkinson, Odette, Ostrum, Old Orchard
If you live in any other area of the Township and have a missed collection from last week, please notify us ASAP so we can add your area to the recovery list. 248-618-7408 or 248-674-6201 or online at: or
Not ideally, but realistically, delays will likely continue this week. We know you've been more than patient and we certainly appreciate that.
At this time, please continue to put your items at the curb on your regularly scheduled collection day by 7am and leave them until Priority Waste collects them.
