2015 Rule Change Proposal: Add a Free Agency Period #poll-notice

 

Free Agency Period:
?
1.? A Free Agency period would be allowed for all teams beginning with Schedule release 3 (currently games 36-51) and end upon the finishing of Schedule Release 4 (currently games 52-65).??
?
2.? Each team can have 3 Free Agent moves in this period.
?
3.? Any free agent picked up must be released prior to the next season's draft.
?
4.? Any player released can no longer be picked up by any other teams until the next season draft when they can be drafted.
?
5.? If a team picks up a free agent which puts there roster over the 32 maximum roster spots, the manager must release a player immediately who will no longer be available to any other team.
?
6.? Prior to the free agency period, if a trade is made which puts a team's roster size under 32 players, they must wait for the free agency period to pick up a player to fill the roster.
?
7.? During the free agency period, if a manager makes a trade that reduces his roster to under 32 players, they may sign a free agent only if they still have free agent moves available.
?
8.? Free agency is first come and first served based on the time stamp via the email to [email protected].
?
9.? NO free agent may be used until the move is confirmed by the Commissioner.
