The National Field Day will be the first week-end in September.
(Common for most European countries.)
However, a small group a LA Hams has started a group called LA Field Day Group? (Callsign LA1FDG)?to support more portable HAM activity.
I'm a cofounder of LA1FDG.
LA1FDG have just started with Field Day Parties to get more portable activity, the upcomming dates for the Field Day Parties is:
Field Day Party No. 2 30 april - 1 may 2005
Field Day Party No. 3 25-26 june 2005
Field Day Party No. 4 27-28 august 2005
Field Day Party No. 5 29-30 october 2005
Field Day Party No. 6 25-26 december 2005
LA1FDG also tries to participate in the National Field Day using their own callsign LA1FDG and to arrangere small Ham meetings.
The next meeting is planned for the week-end 30 april - 1 may 2005.
The location is not yet decided uppon, but we are working with a location near Minnesund, about 100 km north of Oslo. You are more than welcome to join us. The number of participant will propably be from 5 to 10.
LA1FDG also plans to have a meeting during the summer.
Please tell me more about your traveling plans, and may be we can arrange for something.

First, when is field day? Second, can I apply for a norwegian callsign? For
