Hello everyone, I saw Don Stark's Lotus 23B on the web and through him
found the registry here. I am interested in buying a 23, or 23B (perhaps someone can explain to me what a 23C is), and have been for some time - I would like to run it in vintage racing - SOVRN or whatever. Should anyone know anyone who is starting to look at selling one please keep me in mind. At such a point perhaps consulting with someone here who knows what cars are floating around out there could happen. Thanks very much everyone! Jeff Williams |

Jeff:
Good luck with your search for a 23. One of our club members (CSRG) recently sold his McLaren CanAm car and is also looking for a 23. There are several 23Bs in our club and rarely change hands. That must say something about how desireable these cars are or, how expensive it is to run a Mclaren! The 23C was the last of the 23s made and there were only about six of those I think. The only changes I know of were 1" wider wheels front and rear which required the covered rear wheel well body work to be cut out to allow clearance. Personally, I don't think they were as attractive as the 23 and 23B. Gary From: "Muttley Macclad" <jewilliams154@...> Reply-To: L23Registry@... To: L23Registry@... Subject: [L23Registry] New Member. I agree with Gary in all respect.? I'll just add that the 23c (and six is, we believe, the correct number produced) used the six-bolt wobbly-webs front and rear.? And I agree - it was and is ugly.
