Help for Chassis 23-S-69

 

Hi all. I am considering the purchase of the Lotus 23, chassis number 23-S-69. The seller claims that the car was sold to a dutch racer in 1963 and then raced by Mark Green, and was then sold to Alain Noirhomme. Car has a road license, plate is 324 YUH.

Mark Green is a good friend of mine. He runs Motor Racing Medics that does race medicals here in the U.K. and is very reputable. I am sure he can help you out with the history of the car as he only ever bought cars with impeccable provenance. I have driven that car in the past when in Mark’s ownership

Thanks so much. Just sent an email. In searching online, it seemed that Mark Green's car was 23-S-168 and not 23-S-69. Fingers crossed this is the real deal. Thanks again for the help!

Mark had two 23s. A green one and a cream/off white one.?
