Check your bearing size, to much oil in the cc

Hi Murray,

?

Is the oil leaking from the seal (i.e. from the lip where it touches the crankshaft) or is it from the front timing cover where it connects with the sump?

?

Where you say "?but after this rebuild it is an issue this is the second time it has occurred" do you mean that it occurred once, you replaced the seal, and it happened again - or that it has occurred twice, each time after a rebuild - sorry to be pedantic.

?

Kind regards,

?

Andy.

H I have a serious oil leak at the front oil seal at high engine revs. I have built this engine many times over the last 50 years without any issues but after this rebuild it is an issue this is the second time it has occurred engine removed new seal but still leaks any ideas. Have checked for crankcase pressure no restrictions ???Murray Charnley
