I am researching my parent's history. They were both deported during the war
and served with Gen Anders army. I was born in Italy in 1946.

I am so thrilled when I accessed the site and finally found out so much
about the experiences which my parents spoke about. I am attempting to make
a record for my own children. I am only child with no relatives in the UK so
this history would have been 'forgotten'.

I would love to join the Kresy- Siberia.....please do sign me up.

I live in Southsea Portsmouth Hampshire. Please do get in touch my email is
jzmsh@...
My parent came to the UK with Anders Army from Italy and we were in camps in
Lowther Park and Cark in Carmel in the Lake District. They finally settled
in Lancaster where they died in 1979.  I do have memories of the Polish
community in the North of England.
