Just a reminder that I have around 50 photos of
Tengeru, many of my family, but lots include other people who were there. It
would be interesting to know more about the photos for sale............re:
content. Mine of course are free for the group and I must make it a priority to
try and get them onto the site. I have borrowed a scanner but at present cannot
get it to work. Again showing my ignorance of computerised
components!

days. It's at $31 US and the reserve has not yet been met. Being out of Boston
it only makes sense that someone on this side of the globe act on it.? I'm

I emailed the seller to ask him what his reserve is and he told me he did not want to release that information. He said he wanted to see how the auction goes. If it doesn't reach the reserve by the end of the auction, you may want to write to him and make him an offer. Unfortunately, though, if he agrees to sell it outright after the auction closes, you will not get any protection from eBay if there is a problem. If you really want it and price is no option, I would put a bid of maybe $100 on it before the auction closes. That may be closer to the reserve. Just a suggestion. We do a LOT of eBaying, buying and selling. Good luck! As you all know the ONLY way to win a bid on ebay is to have the highest bid. Timing does help by not making others aware of your interest.
I wouldn't contact any of the other bidders as this will peak their interest also. As Stefan mentioned we need to decide how rare the album is and the top bid. That being said I'll put in my $10.00 to support the cause. It is a pity the seller won't disclose the reserve.
