Patron - Winlink Question

How do I get Winlink to automatically transmit my location to?APRS.fi? I want the node name, in this case Kb5wck-2 to show. It did it the 10th but hasn’t since. It had the wrong location and now has the right one but hasn’t updated the site.?

I believe you are talking about the Winlink Gateway. If so, check out this section of the Winlink Gateway video. for setting it up. The information should update on the map every two hours. You can also force an update with a reboot of the gateway. More information can be found in John's document

FWIW most Winlink gateways are identified on APRS.fi with the -10 SSID.

In yours, I notice you are using port 8778 but in the document he uses api.winlink.org port 80. Which one is correct? ?I rebooted and it still doesn’t show up and it doesn’t show up on APRS.fi either.?
