Are there any installation instructions?
Checked site. I have everything hooked up with barrel connector with positive on the outer and ground in the center. Connected to power poles and to my 12v power supply.
Any advice? After further searching it says that barrel center should be positive.
Can someone verify this please.

I make my own.
you don't need
the "official" crimp tool.? Use pliers and solder (lite).? I
also hot melt the wires into the PowerPole connectors (back
end).

Ok, all this talk about the Makerfocus powerboard has be thinking again......I have one of these on my pi4 and its pretty awesome, but I have Four (4) Pi3b running 24/7 and am always getting the lightening bolt warning, so I am considering pputting one of these on each of those Pis, but will require New Cases, as the current ones dont allow for the board....

Richard, I almost purchased two of those cables from Powerwerx, one straight and one angled, but they did not say if they were center positive or not. I suppose it is easy enough to work around if they are not, but it would drive me mad if the red wire did not go center. I had parts floating around so I ended up making one for now.? I am just curious what the results are if/when you get them. Thanks. ? Also, Richard, I have always called it a barrel connector. I may be wrong, and that may not be the technical term for it, but it is a connector and it is shaped like a barrel. I have always heard it called that in casual conversation. Jason & Norrin,, Jason: I don’t have a case yet. I was using the Canakit case but the MakerFocus board adds too much height. MakerFocus ?sells one but it comes with a fan which is unneeded and looks too short to get it all in now. I’m is a dusty environment at times so a case makes sense. Hopefully others have found something that works.?
Norrin: thanks for bringing up the center pole issue. I’ll check it out when it arrives. Most likely Powerwerx would know. I’ll let you know one way or the other.? 73-Richard?

Norrin, I checked with Powerwerx. The tech guy I spoke with said he was 99.9% sure the cable was positive center. He felt it was the standard configuration. Mine should arrive Saturday. If different I’ll post.?
