Spent several hours today trying to find out why the pgm was working fine when I left it running before retiring at 2200 Eastern.

this is VarAC v 8.0.6 on LM-Vict with '73 Linux'

Ideas would be gladly welcomed. I posted here feeling that more of everyone is using such programs than on a plain-LinuxMint board.
However, I've been noted to be wrong, in the past.

This is just behavior experienced a work around is launch vara modem, and don’t let varac auto start the modem. Otherwise it will fail twice and work the third time normally for me . Hihi?

Well, actually, this 'fix' appears to have worked!
Though I'm not too sure that you were seeing these errors and experiencing the total lockout to VarAC once those pesky messages began to appear.
