Build a pi not creating /home/greg/pi-build/build-a-pi

Pi 5
OS Bookworm
?
Running the script?
git clone \$HOME/pi-build && bash &HOME/pi-build/build-a-pi
?
It downloads a bunch then errors out with
/home/greg/pi-build/build-a-pi: no such file ordirectory
?
Ideas?

What directories do you have in 'home/greg'?
did you forget the \ in front of the second "&HOME/pi-build/"?
If you try
git clone \$HOME/pi-build && bash \$HOME/pi-build/build-a-pi
do you get a 'normal' result?

There was a lot of files written in the /$HOME directory.

?

This is on a Pi5 with a M.2 drive so I’m in the middle of a reimage.

Because most of the files are already written, the scrip won’t run again.

AND the script in Jason’s YouTube doesn’t show the \$HOME/pi-build/build-a-pi

?

I’ll give that a try… what the heck, I’ve only reimaged the drive 3 times now!

?

The extra slash worked BUT since I’m running 64 bit I’m getting lots of errors. I guess when it finishes, I’ll know what barfed.

?

Thanks for the hint.

If the git clone doesn't work, or you have other issues before it starts installing, you can do a
rm -rf \$HOME/pi-build
to clean it out and re-do the git command.

After a couple pages of failures, I quit.
?
64 bit, Bookworm and a Pi5 all add up to no go.
?
Too bad. I'm going to rebuild and manually add what I want/need. Too many of the original stuff just doesn't like 64 bit.
Why go to a Pi 5 without 64 bit!
?
Thanks for the suggestions.
