BAP on RasPi zero

The Pi Zero 2 W is essentially a RPi 3b + with half the RAM, no Ethernet connection, and fewer USB ports.

The Pi Zero 2 W is a quad-core board compared to the original Pi Zero W's single core.

?When the RPi Zero 2 W came out, I immediately changed to it and it works MUCH better that the original zero. I have no problem running Fldigi or WSJT-X as it has a 1uad core processor that runs pretty much like a RPi-3, as I understand it. I did have an odd problem in that the newer RPi Zero 2 would shut down from overheating sometimes, but I replaced the plastic housing seen in an earlier post with an Flirc case that is the same size, but made as an aluminum heat sink, and that solved that problem. I routinely use the new setup in digital modes in portable or remote operations. I just got back from a family vacation for a week on the Outer Banks where I had my QRP rig and a KM4ACK 40m EFHW set up for early mornings and evenings and worked 28 countries from Australia to Greece on 10w, mostly digital modes (PSK-31 and FT8) using the setup. Note I don't use Flrig, just select the appropriate rig for control from the menu in either Fldigi or WSJT-X.

So what did I do with the original Pi-zero? I plugged it into an old cell charger and run Pi-Hole on it to strip pop-ups from all the devices on my home network.
