Update Tool #bullseye

I ran the Update Tool and had it patch to the new version of Gridtracker however it did not install. I proceeded to run the Update Tool again and I'm getting an error invalid desktop entry file '/usr/local/share/applications/build-a-pi.desktop' and the tool no longer works.

Take a look at BAP Update-tool post #6710 and Jason's reply 6727

Run these commands:
rm -rf ~/pi-build
git clone https://github.com/km4ack/pi-build.git

and try the update tool again.

Today I went to update my BAP from the update-tool tab and the tool (itself) needed an upgrade as well. I completed the update and now when I click on the tools I get ¡°invalid desktop entry file:¡¯/usr/local/share/applications/build-a-pi.desktop¡±
any ideas? I want to install more stuff for my new 705 (eg direwolf, xastir, etc)?

 

Run the commands mentioned above and you should be back in business.
