Ardop is adding offset to dial frequency

Hi;

?

My setup is FT-857D , Raspberry Pi 3b and Signal Link.? Ardop is adding a 700 Hz offset to the dial frequency .? It is not the case when a manually key the mic so for whatever reason I¡¯m getting that offset and it seems Ardop is the culprit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tell us a little bit about your setup. Are you running FLRIG? Also, post your Pat Menu settings and a screenshot of FLRIG if you are running it please.

PAT should take you to the dial frequency?listed in your automatically downloaded gateway list. The actual frequency?(offset) shouldn't be something that you have to worry about. Are you by chance using an FT-891? If so, there's been many a ham that is off freq with that radio due to the somewhat confusing menu settings for digital mode offsets.?

Thanks for the reply .? I¡¯m not using FLRIG however I noticed that when I do , ARDOP changes the transmission mode from USB to CW which is not reflected in the radio. My rig is an FT -857D and the offset is not added when I manually key the mic. I¡¯m working on transferring the pat.configure file to windows.
