I start direwolf with command line "direwolf -p". I read with /pts it chooses. Then I start XASTIR and make sure the /dev/pts is correct. However, the device will not start. The network and gpsd will connect/start. I've stopped all/started all, tried the serial tnc by itself. I deleted the device and recreated it. Still will not start. All programs are up to date. Was a dependency changed in the past 4 months for these programs??

Are you using the serial KISS TNC? It is different from the serial TNC. The serial KISS TNC is the one I use for my digi.

I ran the BAP update, and it seems to have fixed itself. And you're right, I wasn't using the KISS version. All is well! Thanks a billion!!!
