Hotspot


 

I'm trying to install build-a-pi on my raspberry pi 4 8gb, install the program go thru the setup script after the reboot i can not connect to internet.
i can not access my wifi or ethernet get "no wifi installed" when i try to connect to wifi.
I tried 3 time yesterday from a new image.each time.

any suggestions

You could try to turn it on manually from the raspi-config menu using the command

sudo raspi-config

I know you can setup your wifi options in that menu.

Can you see the wifi icon on your desktop?

Try disabling the hotspot. Open Hotspot Tools and then choose Disable Hotspot. Follow the instructions. After reboot, you should be able to use the GUI to connect to your local WiFi. A complete guide to the hotspot can be

I tried to enable wifi thru raspi-config say could not see the adapter, then open the wpa_supplicant.conf? file removed the entries for the hot spot.
rebooted was restored
