Pat Mail #bap #pat-mail

 

Installed all one by one

pat mail start 100%

ptt is set to true
select a freq to connect
then following messages on screen

that is where i get stuck. Something in later updates as all was working perfect

please advice where to type, change etc?

For most setups, FLRIG needs to be open and configured for your radio. Try again with FLRIG running. If it still isn't working, post a screenshot of your Pat Menu settings.

Flrig does work
Rigcontrol goes green on conkey
Ardop active go green
Pat active
Just the ptt that dont and

Then nessage in black terminal screen on pat mailbox
“Unable to get freq from rig my-rig…”which i assume might be the problem.?

The screenshot for pat menu setting is unreadable. Run this command and copy/paste the results here please:
cat ~/patmenu2/config

Which version of rigctl do you have installed? Run:
rigctl --version

Is FLRIG open and running before you attempt a pat connection?

I have installed hamlib 4.2 manually as per script given to me on previous problem and not via BAP Noted it point to hamlib 4.3? ?

yes flrig is running before i start pat mail

Change AMRRON to No in your pat menu setting and try it again. This setting is only for a special use case.

Did you compile libusb1.0 manually? It was the only way I was able to get hamlib 4.3 installed and working. I spent several hours installing on hamlib 4.3 over the weekend. /g/KM4ACK-Pi/message/5579



Do you have a backup of the system that you could fall back to?
