Might be a dumb question....
#rpi
So I am trying to install build a pi on a fresh install of Raspbian (on a RPi 3 B+). I run the script from GitHub and input my call, plug in the GPS, hotspot info, etc. I click "check all and continue" for all software packages. Problem is, when I finish with the install, most of the software did not install. When I have done older versions of BAP, they have installed all.?
Am I doing something wrong? Thanks! |
I did go through and try three different installs. On the last one I did the manual checking as you suggested it still had the same result. Did they install correctly for you? |
I haven't had the problem with nothing installing.? But when I initially used the BAP script, I didn't select the fldigi selections.? When I went back in to the script and selected to install fldigi, it did not install.? I had to run the script a 2nd time and it worked.? I do not remember if I had rebooted between the 1st and 2nd attempt to install fldigi

After reading the FAQ's last night, I found that the newer versions of build a pi can run the script multiple times to install software. I will give that a run this morning when I get to the machine. Thanks again, Jim On Wed, Sep 1, 2021, 7:15 AM Gregory Smith <gregory.d.smith@...> wrote: I haven't had the problem with nothing installing.? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi I have been only following this a little, but if this is a Pi with only 2GB of memory you will have to increase the swap space to get Fldigi to complete its build. Maybe some of the others also. I know on my HP running the e86 Raspian OS I had to increase the swap to 2048. Marty kd8bj

Marty,? It is a 4 gigabyte model, but that would be good to check for other?models! Results: I ran the BAP script again and, seemingly, all the applications installed. Thanks to everyone who chimed in to help! Jim? On Wed, Sep 1, 2021 at 7:40 AM Marty Hartwell <mhartwe@...> wrote:
