Can you run raspberry pi on a laptop with a Bluetooth connection?

Build a Pi has the option to install a hotspot on the pi. This in turns allows us to connect another wireless device (ie laptop) to the pi over wifi and control the pi through a VNC connection. I haven't seen this done over bluetooth.
