Is there a PiStar like functionality for the hot spot?

Noob question, but can I use the hot spot for a DMR radio?
?Also, can the hot spot "cross band"?? (not sure that is the correct term)?
DMR to D-Star and Fusion?

This hobby is all about community learning.
Thanks

This is a WiFi hotspot, not a DMR hotspot.? Unfortunately there's a clash of terms between the two, but they're unrelated.

Setting up another Pi for Pi-Star is pretty easy, but you don't need all the "bells & whistles" of a Pi3 or 4. A Pi Zero works great for this with the proper hat. I have used both the Zumspot as well as the Chinese knockoffs successfully for DMR. I have another Pi Zero set up with different software and a DV Dongle.

I would suggest finding other groups for assistance, since it falls outside of what Jason is doing here with BAP.

Thanks for the VooDoo that you do Jason, and all the other contributors.
