Is VARA currently supported for the RPi or on the project map? ? Eventually ARDOP and WINDMORE is to be phased out.

Unfortunately Vara only releases for Windows. The developer is charging $$ for Vara unless you want throttled speed. I heard that John Wiseman offered to port it to Linux and the developer declined but I can't find where I read that. John is the same one that brought ARDOP to the pi. I suspect Winmor may be phased out in the future but I suspect ARDOP will be around much longer.

I love VARA, so much so that I paid for the HF version. When I like something I have no problem supporting its development. I would so like to see it ported into Pat! Sure wish the developers could see the value that the RPi ham community could afford them. Sigh.

I too purchased it for HF.? Maybe if enough of us cash paying customers let the developer know that we would like it for Linux he might listen??
