73Linux and HSTools

Hi,?
?
I am new to this topic but I was not able to find HSTools in the latest BuiltaPI aka 73Linux.? I decided to refresh the install on my PI4 and I quicky discovered that that there is a new distribution called 73Linux. This is fine but, the key component HSTools seems to be missing. I have run the installation command just for the HSTools and then I manually added the HSTools to the menu. However, when there is no WiFi signal available the AP on the PI does not start automatically like it used to. Which turns the entire installation useless outside of the house.?
?
I wonder if I did something wrong or perhaps this is a "feature" or a bug.? Thank you for your help!

The latest version of Pi OS (Bookworm) includes a built in WiFi hotspot. As such, HSTools was deprecated as it not longer works with Bookworm.

Thank you for your reply. I have installed the latest version, but the hotspot does not start when there is no WiFi present. I have not seen any interface that would allow me to enable it. Essentially, I have to run my pone and AP on it to connect Pi and the large screen tablet.?
Could you please point me into right direction since I am not a Linux person. Thank you!

Did you ever get an answer on this? I'm also curious how to get this to work right with current versions of Raspberry Pi OS. Seems you can only turn on the hotspot if you have access to the desktop (which kinda defeats the purpose for our use).
