conky screen is an empty rectangle in fresh build a pi install

 

Just installed Build a Pi.? The first noticeable problem is that the conky display rectangle is blank and totally dark.? I know the gps is functioning as I checked that through terminal and all gps data is normal. ??
I'm running Book worm 32 bit on a Pi 4
Any ideas that anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Conky development and functionality of Wayland has been making a little noise lately; so best advice is roll back to Xorg or standby?

Kelly, I'm not sure what Xorg is.? When you say Standby, as in wait for the next release of Build a PI?
 

Either roll back to ¡°x windows¡± and don¡¯t use Wayland for a windows manager?

conky is a 3rd party tool which is outside of the build a pi
