Okay, I figured it out for my issue. My Isotect portable monitor has two hdmi ports, but I've always used the same one with my Buster builds.? Thinking it was the hdmi cables, so tried all kinds.? I decided to try the other port and it worked. I dont have any paperwork anymore so not sure why the other hdmi port works
