CW beacons can be heard from 50.060 - 50.080 MHz .

B. SoCal Microwave SPRINT results:
Although there was not too much activity, 5?stations submitted their scores to 3830.?
Of note, 3 stations associated with the Ventura County Amateur?Radio Society posted their scores. 1 QSO , between WA6WDY & N7WLC,?over a distance of 27km,?on 902 mhz FM Simplex was achieved with Alinco handhelds with rubber duckies! WDY was on Stunt Rd in the Santa Monica¡¯s Mts & WLC was at home in Thousand Oaks.
N6ZE, also on Stunt Rd,? worked N6UTC & WA6EJO on both 902 MHz & 1294mhz at distances of about 60km using handhelds with small yagis.?
Microwave bands have small equipment available with small yagis and bounces/reflections off hills work great to achieve longer QSO distances. Try it, you might like it!
C. See you on 6 meters on Saturday afternoon:evening!
