If the frequency is busy, check 5 Khz below or above as we may have moved there ?
Get on the air and see who you can hear!? A good way for Technicians to participate on HF as they are allowed a small slice of 10M.
Edit: Moved time to 4pm (0000 UTC) so we are not in the last hour of various contests through the year. |
Micro Field Day is on THIS SUNDAY
Late on Friday we got the approval for μField Day...for THIS SUNDAY! Yes, this is very short notice, but we're not letting that hold us back. March 9th, 2025, and the same site we've been using lately. Yeah, it's very short notice, but the weather is going to be beautiful and it's always a good time. Same location, at the Ventura County Fire Department’s training ground at Camarillo Airport. This is at the east end of Durley avenue, and I’ll have some signs there. Or set your nav to 34.2084, -119.0722. 11:00 am to 3:00 pm as always. Bring a radio, HF setup, or nothing at all-there are always people with radios set up waiting for someone to have a turn at it. Just be there! Keith W6KME keith@...

I texted back and forth with Dick KB0JOU and we moved down to 80M on 3.987 LSB and audio quality was really good.? He was hitting me 10 over.? I guess I jinxed myself with the Pres Says saying we didn't need to move to 80M for the net. . . .
.
40M was hopping, just not good locally.
