2022 Winter Field Day - VHF Suggestion

Winter Field Day is THIS WEEKEND. https://www.winterfieldday.com — - — - — — - — — - — - — — - — — - — - — — - — In order to increase VHF activity and increase the likelihood of making contact during Winter Field Day - it has been suggested operators coordinate operation on the following frequencies at the suggested times: 2M FM 146.52 — 2M SSB 144.20 3, 5 ,7 PM 6M FM 52.525 — 6M SSB 50.125 2, 4, 6 PM So, if any in your group would like contacts on VHF checking 2m on odd hours, and 6 m on even hours might help. As always, if there's a non-contest QSO already on the given frequency, please adjust up or down a little to avoid interference. Listeners, understand that contest stations may be ± the target frequency, because of traffic you cannot hear. Listen up and down from the target frequency. Also, if stations have multiple modes, SSB / FM / DMR ... they may be calling / making contacts on a different mode before switching to the mode / frequency you are on. So be patient and keep trying. — - — - — — - — — - — - — — - — — - — - — — - — Some have suggested DMR as well, so check DMR on the 2m times (3, 5 ,7 PM).
