Hi, my name Richard Sander, son of Dick Sander (K5QY). Sadly, he and mom passed earlier this year and have left a home in Murphy Texas with 5 or more towers. One 90¡¯ fold over tower, 4 about 30¡¯ towers and misc. receiving assemblies. I am looking for a trade consisting of the removal of the towers which can be kept, along with his miscellaneous Ham gear (minimalized list below).
FlexRadio 6400M, Ameritron ALS-606, Ameritron 1200 ICom IC-3220A Other Misc. radio, amp, and Ham items, and some 3-4 of sections of aluminum tower for fast field set-up.

I'm working on reaching out to multiple Ham clubs. Please help share this with serious Ham operators.

If interested, please call me at 214-641-0662. Thank you

Richard

A couple updates you may find helpful:
  • The kv4p HT app should be out of beta before the end of October, and you won't need an invite. It will just show up in the Play Store on Android phones for you to easily install. The beta is required to get approval for Google to list the app publicly, and we're almost done with the beta. If you join the beta, you'll continue to get new versions before everyone else (which might have some issues, but also lots of cool new stuff!)
  • The best version of kv4p HT to build right now, is the v1.5 PCB (the only one linked on the Quick Start page on , so if you use that you're good). The harmonic suppression on v1.5 is marginal and just barely compliant with US FCC requirements. It's your responsibility to ensure it meets the harmonic suppression requirements of your country and amateur radio license. Me and the community are working on a much better PCB version right now, and should have v1.7 available in 1-2 weeks. If you can wait for that version, I recommend it.
I'll get to you soon, once your beta access is granted!

There are audio to text and text to audio apps on Google Play. I've also used audio to text on my PC by using a built in Microsoft app to transcribe actual SSB audio?to a text document so I can catch call signs and such. Works pretty well considering that it hasn't been trained.?

It is very interesting and he's got a nice development page, as well as a git-hub with feature requests, and bug reports.

The ability of the device to transcribe the audio it hears to text would be useful for those with hearing difficulty, and the larger screen is good for sight issues.

I am new to this group so I hope this post doesn't violate your posting guidelines, if so forgive my ignorance.

I found this article interesting and innovative if it actually works.? The article explains how open source can turn an Android phone into a ham transceiver. I will investigate this project further and report back at a future date. I have included a link to the article below.?
