Newsletter Editor Vacancy

开云体育

As you all are aware, Neil has resigned as our Newsletter Editor.? We wish him well in his challenges ahead.
With the help of Johnnie Young KG5CQO, a potential replacement has been identified.
?
Lonnie Webb KG5WHQ who recently joined PARK and currently does the Sachse ARC newsletter, has volunteered to fill our Newsletter Editor vacancy.?
A copy of this month's Sachse Newsletter is attached.
?
I spoke with Lonnie earlier this afternoon and from that, and looking at his Sachse Newsletter, I think he would be a good addition to our team.?
He is making plans to be at next week's PARK general meeting.
?
In accordance with our Constitution, the board can appoint a replacement to fill a board vacancy,? which would then be voted on by the membership at the meeting following the meeting at which the vacancy is announced (announced next week, voted on in February).?

Thanks for makig this happen. The Sache newsletter is quite well done and extensive, so clearly Lonnie takes great pride in the work.

Is Lonnie a member?? Is there a requirement that a board member be a member?
Because part of the Newsletter duties is to post it to the website, which needs Richard to authorize that person to access the back end to upload content and create a post.

Yes, he is a member. ?Otherwise he wouldn’t have been recruited.
